Terms of Use

1. Who you are contracting with

CompGenies (the extension, website and collection tracker) is provided by Complive, trading as CompGenies ("we", "us"). Questions: support@complive.app.

2. Acceptance

You must agree to these terms when you create an account or sign in. By using CompGenies you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old.

3. Educational tool only — no guarantees

CompGenies is an educational and informational tool. Prices, comps and estimates are automated and may be wrong, incomplete or out of date — including AI card identification and AI estimates.

Nothing on CompGenies is financial, investment or appraisal advice. We do not guarantee any profit, return, resale value or outcome. Using CompGenies does not mean you will make money, and you may lose money.

You alone are responsible for every bid, purchase and sale you make.

4. No refunds

All payments are final. Subscriptions, plan upgrades and scans are non-refundable, including partially used periods and unused scans, except where a refund is required by law.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Checkout is handled by our reseller Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for all orders, under Paddle's Buyer Terms (paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms).

5. Plans and changes

Plan prices, scan limits, trial allowances, features and fair-use safeguards may change. Price changes for an active subscription take effect at the next billing period.

6. Referral program

Referral rewards, bonus amounts, levels, payout methods and eligibility rules may be changed, paused or ended at any time without notice.

We may require identity verification (KYC) before payouts, and may withhold, reverse or cancel rewards for self-referrals, fake or duplicate accounts, or any suspected fraud or abuse. Rewards have no cash value until paid.

7. Acceptable use, suspension and termination

One person per account. Do not share your account, use it on more devices than your plan allows, or get around limits.

Do not scrape, resell or redistribute CompGenies data, reverse engineer the service, automate bidding, create duplicate accounts, or break the rules of Whatnot, eBay, TikTok or any other platform.

We may suspend, limit or close any account at any time, without notice and without refund, for abuse, fraud, suspected fraud, breach of these terms, or risk to the service.

8. Intellectual property

We own the service, software, data, design and the CompGenies name. You get a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use it while your account is in good standing. You keep ownership of photos you upload and let us process them to run the service.

9. No affiliation

CompGenies is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Whatnot, eBay, TikTok, Fanatics or PSA. Trademarks belong to their owners.

10. Service provided "as is"

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Third-party sites and data sources can change or fail without notice.

11. Limitation of liability and indemnity

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Complive is not liable for any lost profits, overpayments, bad purchases, lost data, or indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the prior three months.

You agree to cover our losses from claims caused by your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.

12. Disputes, governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Complive is established. Disputes are handled individually, not as part of a class action, to the extent allowed by law.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
